Preparation The Preparation section explains what the administrator has to prepare for monitoring the images after installation and connection of the camera. Assigning the IP Address to the Camera To connect the camera to a network, you need to assign a new IP address to the camera when you install the camera for the first time. Click on the camera in the list to which you want to assign a new IP address. The network settings for the selected camera are displayed. To obtain the IP address automatically from a DHCP server: Select Obtain an IP address automatically. If “Setting OK” is displayed, the IP address is correctly assigned.
